We are a by appointment only salon.
If you are in the area, we are more than happy for you to pop in and see if there is any availability, but we can’t guarantee there will be a spot available.
-
Yes - there is street parking and a council car park near the salon, and most clients find a spot within a short walk.
Because availability can vary depending on the time of day, we recommend arriving a few minutes early to allow time to park comfortably.
Lashes.
-
Korean Lash Lift: 8-10 weeks
Regular Lash Lift: 6-8 weeks
Please note: How long a lash lift will last varies per individual and their own lash cycle.
-
Absolutely! We recommend waiting 24-48 hours post lift to start using mascara.
HOT TIP: We recommend using a waterproof mascara to avoid excessively rubbing the lashes - creating longer lasting results
-
Yes, we stock brown, black and blue black tint.
We are more than happy to discuss at your appointment which colour would work best for you.
-
A lash lift is generally considered safe for most pregnant clients, but everyone’s body can react differently during pregnancy.
Because hormones can make lashes process faster or slower, results may vary compared to your usual lift.
We always recommend discussing any treatments with your doctor first before going ahead with your appointment.

Korean Lash Lift
A Korean lash lift focuses on creating a soft, natural or dramatic curl using gentler solutions and a more detailed step‑by‑step technique.
Uses Korean‑formulated solutions that are very gentle
Includes extra steps like lash nourishing, keratin and repair serums
Completely glueless method, which is far gentler on the lashes.
Because the solution is so gentle we can cover the entire lash root to tip, which results in longer lasting lifts
Regular Lash Lift
A traditional lash lift uses standard professional solutions to create a strong and defined curl.
Uses classic perming solutions
As the products we use are quite a lot stronger than what we use in a Korean Lash Lift, we only apply the products root to midway up the lash
Is a shorter service with fewer nourishing add‑ons
-
Keep lashes dry for 24 hours — no water, steam, sweat or humidity.
Avoid mascara, oils, serums or eye creams around the lash line for the first day.
Do not rub, press or sleep on your lashes the first night.
Avoid saunas, hot showers, swimming for 24 hours.
Use a nourishing lash serum to keep lashes hydrated and healthy.
Avoid waterproof mascara as it can weaken the lift over time.
Avoid lash curlers completely - they can damage the lifted shape and snap your lashes if too much pressure is applied.
Brows.
-
Brow mapping is a precise shaping technique, used to find the ideal brow shape for your face.
We measure key points of your brows and facial features to create a balanced outline that guides your wax, tweeze, trim and pluck.
This ensures your brows are shaped symmetrically, naturally, and in a way that enhances your natural bone structure.
No guesswork, no over‑shaping, just clean, tailored brows every time.
-
Most clients find their brows stay clean and shaped for 3 to 5 weeks.
Your exact timing depends on your natural hair growth and how defined you like your brows to look. If you prefer a consistently sharp shape, booking every 3 weeks keeps everything crisp. If your brows grow slower or you like a softer look, 4 to 6 weeks works perfectly.
Regular waxing also helps maintain your mapped shape so each appointment builds on the last.
If you are adding some colour…
Regular tint lasts on the hairs up to 3-6 weeks.
Hybrid dye stains the skin for up to 2 weeks and dyes the hairs for up to 6-8 weeks.
-
If you’re taking Roaccutane (isotretinoin) or have recently finished a course, waxing is not recommended.
Roaccutane can make the skin extremely thin, fragile, and sensitive, which means waxing can easily cause lifting, tearing, or injury, even if you’ve never reacted to waxing before.
For your safety, clients on Roaccutane should avoid waxing and choose gentler alternatives like tweezing or trimming until their skin has fully recovered.
Because everyone’s skin responds differently, it’s always best to check with your doctor if you’re unsure or recently stopped the medication.
-
Avoid retinol or exfoliants — Stop using retinol, AHAs, BHAs, or scrubs for at least 48–72 hours before waxing to prevent skin lifting.
Avoid Roaccutane — If you’re currently taking it or recently finished, waxing isn’t suitable.
Avoid tanning — Sunburned or freshly tanned skin is too sensitive for waxing or tinting.
Avoid heavy makeup — Come with clean skin around the brows so products can work properly.
Avoid moisturisers or oils — They can create a barrier that stops wax or tint from adhering correctly.
Avoid booking too soon after cosmetic treatments — If you’ve had injectables, peels, or laser, check your aftercare timing first.
-
Keep brows dry for 24 hours — no water, steam, sweat or heavy moisture.
Avoid touching or brushing them until the next day.
Do not apply makeup, oils or serums on the brows for 24 hours.
Avoid saunas, hot showers, swimming for the first day.
Brush brows upwards daily to maintain the lifted shape.
Apply a nourishing brow serum or conditioner to keep hairs healthy (daily).
Avoid exfoliants, retinol, AHAs/BHAs around the brow area for 48–72 hours.
Do not schedule facials, peels or waxing on the brow area for at least a week.
Keep up with regular lamination appointments every 6–8 weeks for best results.
Skin.
-
Not sure where to start? We can recommend the best treatment for your skin during a skin consultation . We’ll assess your skin, discuss your concerns and create a treatment plan suited to you.
-
There isn’t one treatment that suits everyone!
At Sœur. Beauty, we tailor your treatment to your skin concerns and goals.
Depending on your skin, we may recommend Skin Needling, Hydro Facials, Professional Peels or a combination of treatments to improve hydration, texture, congestion, pigmentation and overall skin health.
-
Yes! Skin Needling can be a great option for improving the appearance of acne scarring, uneven texture and pigmentation.
By encouraging collagen production and skin renewal, regular treatments can help create a more even and refined complexion. Your treatment will be tailored to your individual skin and concerns.
-
The ideal treatment frequency depends on your skin, concerns and the treatment you’re having.
Some treatments can be performed regularly, while others require more time between appointments.
During your appointment, we’ll recommend a personalised treatment schedule to help you achieve and maintain your skin goals.
-
Roaccutane (isotretinoin) makes the skin extremely thin, dry, and fragile, which means any intensive derma‑skin treatments can easily cause irritation, tearing, burns, or long‑term damage.
Treatments like dermaplaning, microneedling, chemical peels, or strong exfoliation are too harsh for skin that’s actively being thinned by the medication.
Roaccutane reduces your skin’s ability to heal, protect itself, and regulate oil, so even treatments that normally feel gentle can lead to lifting, scabbing, hyperpigmentation, or scarring.
For safety, clients must avoid all derma‑skin treatments during Roaccutane and for several months after finishing. A doctor can confirm when your skin is fully recovered and ready for cosmetic treatments again.
Spray Tans.
-
A spray tan typically lasts 7–10 days, depending on your skin type, how well you prep beforehand, and how you care for it afterwards.
Lighter shades fade a little sooner, while deeper solutions can last longer.
To extend your glow, keep your skin hydrated, avoid long hot showers, and use gentle, non‑exfoliating products.
-
Exfoliate your whole body 24 hours before your appointment.
Shave or wax the day before, not the day of, to avoid irritation.
Avoid oils, heavy moisturisers, deodorant, perfume on the day - they create barriers.
Come with clean, dry skin (no makeup or lotions).
Wear loose, dark clothing to your appointment to avoid rubbing.
Remove jewellery so the tan applies evenly.
If you have dry areas (knees, elbows, ankles), apply a light moisturiser the night before only.

-
Shower with mild, non‑exfoliating body wash -avoid scrubs or anything gritty.
Pat your skin dry instead of rubbing with a towel.
Moisturise daily with a lightweight, tan‑safe lotion.
Avoid long hot showers, baths, saunas — heat fades your tan faster.
Use gradual tanning lotions if you want to top up your colour.
Avoid chlorine and ocean water for long periods — both strip colour.
Skip exfoliating mitts, acids, retinol until you’re ready for the tan to fade.
Wear loose clothing to prevent friction marks.
Drink plenty of water - hydrated skin holds colour longer.
When it’s time to remove your tan, use a gentle exfoliant and moisturise afterwards.
Teeth Whitening.
-
Yes - professional teeth whitening is safe when performed correctly and with high‑quality products.
We use gentle, cosmetic‑grade formulas designed to brighten your smile without harming your enamel or gums. Most clients experience little to no sensitivity, and any mild discomfort usually fades within a few hours.
To keep your treatment safe and comfortable, we avoid over‑processing, protect your gums, and tailor the session to your sensitivity level. If you have dental concerns or a history of sensitivity, it’s always a good idea to chat with your dentist first.
-
Your results depend on your natural tooth shade, lifestyle, and how your enamel responds - but most clients see their teeth brighten by 2–8 shades after a professional whitening session.
Your final shade is influenced by:
Your starting colour
How porous your enamel is
Whether you drink coffee, tea, wine
Your aftercare routine
Professional whitening lifts your teeth to the brightest shade your enamel can safely reach, while still looking natural and flattering.
-
Most clients experience little to no pain, but some feel mild, temporary sensitivity during or after their whitening session. This can feel like a quick “zing” or slight warmth in the teeth and usually settles within a few hours.
Sensitivity depends on:
Your natural enamel thickness
Whether you already have sensitive teeth
The products used
Your hydration levels
We use gentle, cosmetic‑grade formulas and protect your gums to keep the treatment as comfortable as possible. If you’re prone to sensitivity, please consult your dentist before booking an appointment.
-
Professional teeth whitening results usually last 3–6 months, but some clients stay brighter for up to a year depending on their lifestyle and aftercare.
Whitening lifts your teeth to their safest natural shade, and how long that shade lasts depends on what you eat, drink, and how well you maintain your enamel.
Your results may fade faster if you regularly have:
Coffee, tea, red wine
Smoking or vaping
Highly pigmented foods (curries, berries, tomato-based sauces)
-
Avoid coffee, tea, red wine for 24–48 hours (your teeth are more porous right after whitening).
Stick to the white‑diet (light‑coloured foods only) for the first day.
Avoid smoking or vaping for 24 hours to prevent immediate staining.
Drink water only for the first few hours.
Brush with a gentle whitening toothpaste to maintain brightness.
Avoid coloured mouthwash for 24 hours.
Skip highly acidic foods (citrus, tomato-based sauces) for the first day.
Use a desensitising toothpaste if you feel mild sensitivity.
Avoid very hot or very cold drinks for the first 24 hours.
